Over the past several days, the cryptocurrency exchange Binance has been on a delisting spree. It has been publicly announced that the exchange has removed from its portfolio a number of major spot trading cryptocurrency pairings.
Major #Cryptocurrency Spot Pairs Have Been Delisted by Binance
An official announcement has been made by Binance, which is one of the major cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, regarding its intention to remove ten GBP spot pairings from its trading portfolio. A number of important cryptocurrencies, including Solana (SOL), Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Chainlink (LINK), Polygon (MATIC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ripple (XRP), Binance Coin (BNB), and Litecoin (LTC), will be removed off the exchange.
The announcement was made by Binance on the 22nd of December. The exchange has set the date of December 29, 2023 as the beginning of the delisting process, and it will formally stop trading these pairs as of that day. There will be no access to any of the GBP spot pairings indicated above, and users will not be able to trade among them.
Additionally, Binance has claimed that the rationale for the delisting is to protect its users and to ensure that cryptocurrency investors continue to have access to a trading environment that is both secure and of high quality.
According to a statement made by Binance, "Binance conducts periodic reviews of all listed spot trading pairs in order to protect users and maintain a high-quality trading market." Binance may delist some spot trading pairs owing to a variety of issues.

Binance has been delisting a number of different cryptocurrency pairings as of late. There were a number of USDT trading pairs that were slated to be delisted by the exchange in the past, including BTS, PERL, TORN, and others.
Additionally, it recently came to light that thirty spot cryptocurrency trading pairings may soon be eliminated. Delisting of the currencies is scheduled to take place on December 27th, as stated by Binance.
