🇯🇵 SBI Holdings, Japan's leading financial company, is preparing to launch a 663 million USD fund to support Web3, AI and financial technology startups. The fund plans to invest in 150-200 companies and begin operations by the end of this year.
💰 SBI Holdings plans to invest in projects ranging from hundreds of millions to billions of yen. This huge fund is expected to reach 100 billion yen, with contributions from large financial institutions such as Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Mizuho Bank, Nippon Life Insurance and Daiwa Securities Group.
🚀 The Japanese government aims to increase investment in startups from 800 billion yen in 2022 to 10 trillion yen (about 66 billion USD) in 2027. In addition, they commit to developing 100 companies " unicorn" and 100,000 startups.
