November 9, 2023, Issue 758 of Bimin Daily.
Issue 758 has been in the works for a long time. I have looked for many topics, but I gave up on them all.
Let’s just chat casually today to help everyone organize their thoughts, which is actually helping myself organize my thoughts as well.
Writing articles takes up time that could be used to make money, but I really don’t like making money.
Of course, it’s not that I have no interest in money at all, it’s just that I prefer writing articles.
Let’s get to the point.
As we all know, the bull market is coming.
How to play in this bull market?
I think this bull market focuses on three major ecosystems:
1. Three major ecosystems
1. BTC Ecosystem
BTC originally had no ecosystem. Since its birth, there have only been coin hoarders, and the rest are gamblers, which is a dead end.
However, in recent years, BTC has imitated ETH's gameplay and has come up with many things.
Now we have inscriptions, NFTs, decentralized exchanges, and even the Lightning Network is slowly developing.
2. Ethereum Ecosystem
Ethereum ecosystem, needless to say, the bull markets in 2017 and 2021 were mainly based on the Ethereum ecosystem, but it has been a little tired recently.
3. Traditional exchange ecosystem
A certain exchange and a certain exchange K have developed the fastest. There are many facilities around the centralized exchange itself, such as public chains, currency listing mechanisms, and financial management. The influence of these facilities cannot be underestimated. Any action can drive certain currencies to soar.
Facing these three ecosystems, the conservative strategy is to hold on to BTC, ETH, and BNB and reap the lowest increase; the aggressive strategy is to find the leaders in each major segment and reap the average increase; the crazy strategy is to invest heavily in new stocks, and make a fortune or go bankrupt with one coin.
I am lazy, so I choose the first strategy.
Of course, veteran players are already familiar with these three ecosystems. But it is difficult for novices to understand. I will prepare dozens of articles to talk about them slowly in the next two years. Don't worry, the bulls will not come so quickly, nor will they go so quickly.
2. Three new ways to play
1. MEME coin (inscription, Dogecoin, etc.)
The ancestor of MEME is actually the subscription coin in 2015-2016. The selling point is the relatively fair distribution and the skyrocketing effect.
The subscription of coins back then was very crude. You just transferred money to the leader, who distributed the coins and then went to an exchange to list them.
Compared to the subscription coins in 2015-2016, the current MEME coins are more decentralized and participation is more liberal.
Meme coins have no leader, and the previous waves will inevitably be beaten to death on the beach.
But meme currencies will always have new ways of playing and new currencies because the people’s group leaders need them.
The people will always need quick and easy ways to get rich, and they will always need new stimulation and new fair launches.
“Society’s needs have a greater impact on scientific and technological progress than ten universities.”
Don't look down on MEME coins, they have strong vitality.
2. New NFT assets (game NFT, social NFT)
I have been skeptical about NFT for a long time. So when I play, I run very fast and have never lost money.
In this bear market, many veteran NFT players lost everything they had. Sometimes, faith comes at a price.
However, I often worry about my narrow-mindedness. I don’t understand NFT. Am I getting old?
So, I am still studying hard.
Recently, I found that some NFTs with strong empowerment are relatively resistant to falling. Perhaps, making an empowering pendant is the future of NFT?
Or, will gaming NFTs shine in the future?
When it comes to new things, don't judge them by one blow.
Just like I shouldn’t have criticized Vitalik Buterin so badly back then.
3. Blockchain Games
Regarding blockchain games, my doubts once outweighed my approval.
But games are a kind of culture, and the influence of culture is very strong, which is very beneficial to the promotion of WEB3.
Think about it while you experience it, and don't judge it by one blow.
This article ends here, just to give an outline. It will require many more articles to fill in the gaps.
