Ripple is partnering with fintech company Onafriq (formerly known as MFS Africa) to enable cross-border payments using digital assets, connecting Africa with new markets such as the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the UK and Australia.

- Onafriq will use Ripple Payments' crypto payment technology to create three new payment corridors between Africa and the rest of the world.

- Customers of PayAngel in the UK, Pyypl in the GCC and Zazi Transfer in Australia will be able to make fast and cost-effective money transfers and business payments across Onafriq's 27 African network.

- The collaboration aims to accelerate financial inclusion on the continent and eliminate traditional challenges associated with cross-border payments.
