🚓 There was an armed robbery of the Tonwex crypto exchange in the center of Tbilisi
According to the prosecutor's office, the defendants entered the money exchange while the prosecutors were there, the defendants were customers, and, under the threat of firearms, illegally took $810,300, €110 and 6,500 GEL.
One of the employees called the police, but the robbers themselves opened the door for law enforcement officers, introducing themselves as forensic experts conducting investigative activities. Due to this, part of the attackers managed to escape, and two of the accused were detained.
