ChainCatcher reported that The Sandbox published a statement saying that at the first Global Creator Day event, Chief Content Officer Nicola Sebastiani, Creator Ecosystem Director Mathieu Cervety and co-founders announced three major releases in Hong Kong to enhance the capabilities of creators in the platform ecosystem, focusing on user-generated content (UGC).
1. The Sandbox will be open from November 3rd. LAND owners can publish completed experiences on The Sandbox map without the need to publish an application process, and the Metaverse will be fully open to UGC;
2. A new version of Game Maker will be released before the end of 2023, introducing new game mechanics, templates, and social interactions;
3. A new 100 million SAND Game Maker fund will be launched in 2024, and its DAO-based selection system will reward not only creations and content, but also the engagement they generate within the platform.
