Remember the U.S. House of Representatives’ review hearings on the SEC mentioned earlier?
The encrypted "anti-terrorism" campaign of the United States was previously canceled due to time conflicts. Now that the new speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives has taken office, this review meeting has been put on the agenda again. The time is 22:00 on November 2, Beijing time.
The above news was learned through Mr. Ni on Twitter. According to Mr. Ni, the current public part of the meeting did not explicitly mention cryptocurrency-related content. Teacher Ni also confirmed that the content will focus on cryptocurrency.
But I personally think that the content should have related cryptocurrencies for the following reasons
First, the current Speaker of the House of Representatives belongs to the Trump faction, and Trump maintains an optimistic and positive attitude towards cryptocurrency. This is also in line with speculation that U.S. funds are putting pressure on the SEC through the House of Representatives.
Second, this meeting may mention cryptocurrency-related legislation. After all, the SEC is a law enforcement agency. How to enforce the law reasonably to ensure the supervision of cryptocurrency funds without suppressing the development of cryptocurrency is a core issue.
Thirdly, the recent U.S. crypto “anti-terrorism” campaign has been a bit loud but not very popular, and should be mentioned again this time. Because of the particularity and flexibility of cryptocurrency, it makes asset transfer and financial support more convenient. This may not be conducive to certain U.S. defense testimony or sanctions policies, and a plan must be sorted out.
I have said it more than once before that I have always believed that a Bitcoin spot ETF may have to be passed after the legislation is clear.
The above views are my personal analysis and do not represent Teacher Ni’s views. The source of the news comes from Teacher Ni, and the picture also comes from Teacher Ni. Thanks to Teacher Ni for sharing.
