A seller on the Breach forum is offering access to the Binance Law Enforcement Request Panel for $10,000 in cryptocurrency. The dashboard, which provides legitimate access to account data, was accessed through compromised law enforcement email addresses.

Binance provides access through a third-party service called Kodex, which is used to validate requests and facilitate access. It is noted that the computers of law enforcement officers from Taiwan, Uganda and the Philippines were attacked as part of a global campaign to distribute malware in 2023.

This type of attack is becoming more common, and it does not mean that Binance itself has been compromised. Instead, the weak point is the quality of network security of law enforcement organizations around the world.
