The Starknet Foundation is allocating 50 million STRK tokens for those who contributed in the early days of the network.

50 million tokens will be distributed.

Dubbed the "Early Community Member Program," the program will reward individuals who promote technical discussion, host Starknet-related events, and regularly produce Starknet-themed content, according to a blog post.

Individuals and projects must apply for grants by providing details of their contribution.

The Starknet Foundation said, "We intend to use this opportunity and recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the Starknet ecosystem in a variety of ways. Such contributions include being a key component of an effort that substantially and positively impacts the ecosystem." He uses the expressions. The foundation also notes that it reserves the right to keep some tokens in case contributors are missed. However, this program will not be available in the United States or to US citizens.

When will the distribution take place?

The planned launch date for these tokens is April 15, 2024. The majority of the tokens will be allocated to the Starknet Foundation, while 32.9 percent will be allocated to core contributors and 17 percent to investors. The ECMP program will be part of the distribution plan of tokens allocated to the foundation. Starknet states that it is not calling this token distribution an "airdrop."
