The LastPass hack led to unauthorized access to user accounts, resulting in substantial financial losses for crypto owners who had stored their wallet keys in the application.
The attackers behind this breach appear to have targeted seed phrases and wallet keys, indicating a specific focus on extracting cryptocurrencies.
Earlier this year, numerous users reported significant losses from their crypto wallets, where the keys had been stored on LastPass.
