According to the latest regulations, spending of 7,000 TL and above will only be made with a bank or credit card. Purchases over 7,000 TL will be recorded in bank systems with this decision.

Consumers and sellers who are detected to be making purchases by hand will be subject to a 10% penalty (not less than 5,000 TL).

Consumers who report this situation after shopping will not pay a penalty.

Be careful, do not put yourself at risk even if businesses ask for cash. Do not shop from sellers who do not make sales other than cash payment.
