Telegram Game ‘Hamster Kombat’ Revealed for Season 2
Telegram tap-to-earn game Hamster Kombat is set to launch a new full season later this month, following a token launch and airdrop in September, and now we know about the significant changes coming to the game’s next major phase.
While Hamster Kombat’s first season focused on managing a fictional crypto exchange, the second season will focus on building a video game platform and developing games for it.
Hamster Kombat’s developers released a short teaser video on Thursday that gives a glimpse of the Telegram mini-app’s all-new interface and the activities it plays out.
The clip from the video shows players choosing the type of game they’re developing, including genre and theme, and the activities can potentially take several days to complete. You’ll also need to recruit team members for your studio, plus there’s still the familiar tapping and daily combo activities from season one.
It’s a short clip, but the teaser does confirm that Hamster Kombat will be getting a significant overhaul for its next season without completely abandoning the familiar elements from before.
Hamster Kombat’s developers told Decrypt last week that Season 2 is expected to launch in late October, and the game will have another airdrop next summer after that season. Hamster Kombat is currently running a short “interlude season” where players earn in-game diamonds, which the developers say will provide some sort of advantage for Season 2.
