On October 15, the token sale of Trump's crypto project World Liberty Finance went live. The sale started at 20:40. On-chain data showed that in the first 20 minutes, more than 220 million WLFI tokens were sold, involving more than 1,700 independent wallets. The blockchain wallet associated with the token holds nearly $3 million worth of ETH, and less than $1 million in USDT and USDC tokens. WLFI will serve as the platform's governance token, through which users can participate in lending and other decentralized finance (DeFi) activities. The project aims to raise $300 million, valuing the entire project at $1.5 billion.
