According to BlockBeats, on October 11, Korean NFT artist DeeKay Kwon posted on X, "I have just become a victim of cybercrime. All my wallets have been stolen, my life savings, and everything I have earned as a Web3 artist has vanished. This happened during a 14-hour flight from South Korea to New York, and coincidentally I couldn't access the Internet during the flight. I don't know how this happened, but my best guess is that the mnemonic phrase was leaked. The strange thing is that only my funds were taken away, and all my NFTs were not affected. I have begun to transfer my precious NFTs to a new secure wallet. I have nothing now, and this may be the biggest challenge of my life. What I am most worried about is my family, who are all financially dependent on me."

BlockBeats previously reported that on July 15, 2022, the Twitter account of NFT artist DeeKay Kwon was hacked and NFTs worth more than $150,000 were stolen. The hacker posted a link to a phishing website to induce users to approve a malicious transaction in order to obtain exclusive NFTs. Through this method, hackers stole NFTs worth about $150,000 from multiple victims.
