IREN, formerly known as Iris Energy, is being sued by investors for allegedly providing misleading information about its high-performance computing (HPC) business. The class-action lawsuit filed in New York federal court alleges that IREN’s Childress, Texas facility was promoted as an HPC-ready data center, but it was not. The plaintiffs claim that IREN’s June 2023 statement was misleading and misled investors.
