PANews reported on October 24 that Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, tweeted that BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF has been listed on the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) with the stock code IBTC. This is a step in the listing of Bitcoin spot ETFs. Eric Balchunas said that this is the first Bitcoin spot ETF to be listed on DTCC. According to previous news, BlackRock may start preparing seed funds for its Bitcoin spot ETF this month.
