According to BlockBeats, on October 10, Thesis founder Matt Luongo initiated a proposal on the "WBTC Decentralization Roadmap" on Threshold. The idea is not to merge in advance, but to slowly increase the number of WBTC signers, avoid changes to related contracts, and maintain the current market structure. The roadmap is mainly divided into three stages:
Phase 1 - BitGo and BitGlobal join the Threshold network (1 month);
Phase 2 — Building a free path to decentralization for WBTC holders (3-12 months);
Phase 3 - Decentralizing WBTC Operational Expenses (12+ months).
