According to ChainCatcher, Youssef Amrani, co-founder and general manager of Atom Accelerator DAO, was fired last week due to a performance bonus dispute. On September 25, employees of the Atom Cooperative voted unanimously to remove Amrani, and September 30 was his last day in office at the organization.

Co-founder Ryan Orr refused to continue to lead the organization and suggested either disbanding it or finding someone "willing to promote the community update plan" to take over. Head of Communications Syed Choudhury said he would leave by the end of the year, and Financial Director Patricia Mizuki also announced that she would leave.

Atom Accelerator, which has distributed millions of dollars in funding to support Cosmos cryptocurrency, was founded by Amrani and Orr in 2023 and has a small number of employees, mostly funded by Cosmos Hub.
