According to Foresight News, Cointelegraph reported that the Ethereum community released a new proposal EIP-7781. EIP-7781 was launched by Illyriad Games co-founder Ben Adams on October 5, aiming to reduce the block time on the Ethereum network from the current 12 seconds to 8 seconds, increase the latency based on Rollups, and increase the capacity of Blobs (a temporary data structure that reduces L2 network fees). In addition, the proposal also aims to distribute bandwidth usage over time, reducing peak bandwidth requirements without increasing the number of individual blocks or blobs.
