What is the true identity of Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto? Len Sassaman may be the answer

According to Politico, a new HBO documentary claims to have cracked the identity of Bitcoin's anonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto, although HBO did not give a clear answer. People who have been suspected of being Satoshi Nakamoto include the late engineer Hal Finney, Dorian Nakamoto, cryptographer Nick Szabo and Adam Back. However, more and more clues point to a little-known candidate-Len Sassaman.

Len Sassaman is a cypherpunk who focuses on defending personal freedom through encryption technology. His contributions include participating in the development of PGP encryption and privacy protection technology, and studying P2P networks under the guidance of David Chaum. Sassaman also has close ties with important early Bitcoin figures such as Hal Finney and Adam Back, and has made significant contributions to remailer technology, which is the predecessor of Bitcoin's distributed architecture.

Sassaman died in 2011, coinciding with the last public communication of Satoshi Nakamoto, which adds mystery to the claim that he may be Satoshi Nakamoto. Although it cannot be proven conclusively that Sassaman is Satoshi Nakamoto, he is undoubtedly one of the core figures of the cypherpunk culture behind Bitcoin.
