HONG KONG APPROVES ITS THIRD CRYPTO EXCHANGE — HKVAX

Hong Kong just approved a fresh license for HKVAX, making it the city’s third licensed crypto exchange.

HKVAX plans to offer services like over-the-counter trading, custody, and exchange, focusing on security token offerings and tokenized real-world assets.

This is the first license approved under Hong Kong’s two-year-old crypto regulatory framework, which has had a slow start.

HKVAX’s entrance might breathe some life into Hong Kong’s ambitions to be a regional crypto hub—let’s see if it kicks things into gear.

After two years of waiting for momentum, it’s good to see more players in the game.
