International Monetary Fund (IMF) President Kristalina Georgieva emphasized that digitalization plays an important role in expanding access to financial services at the financial inclusion seminar held in Morocco. Georgieva stated that digitalization facilitates the flow of aid to individuals, encourages investment and accelerates economic growth. He also stated that the IMF is actively participating in reviewing the necessary regulations for cryptocurrencies and introduced the crypto risk assessment matrix (C-RAM) in September. This matrix is ​​designed to help countries identify indicators and triggers of potential risks in the cryptocurrency sector. Georgieva emphasized the need to protect against potential dangers while using the benefits of digitalization, drawing attention to the connection between financial stability risks and digitalization.
