Roman Storm, the developer and co-founder of Tornado Cash, is facing a criminal case over his creation of the crypto mixing platform. New York District Court Judge Katherine Polk Failla denied a motion to dismiss three federal charges brought by the U.S. Department of Justice. Storm and co-founder Roman Semenov were indicted last August on charges of money laundering, sanctions violations and operating an unlicensed money transmission business.
