Will Solana dominate the Web3 mobile market? Seeker is officially here
On September 19, Solana Mobile, a subsidiary of Solana Labs, officially released its second-generation encrypted mobile phone - "Seeker" at the TOKEN2049 conference in Singapore. This highly anticipated Web3 phone continues Solana’s innovation in the blockchain technology industry and has been upgraded in many aspects to meet user needs. According to official data from Solana Mobile, Seeker has sold more than 140,000 units in 57 countries since pre-sales opened in January this year.
Emmett Hollyer, general manager of Solana Mobile, demonstrated at the scene that the design of Seeker is inspired by the user's process of "looking for new opportunities", whether it is rewards, experiences or connections. He specifically emphasized that Seeker will be lighter than Solana’s first mobile phone, Saga, and will have significantly improved hardware performance, including longer battery life and better camera performance.
