Why not buy an altcoin?

I learned from hard losses that only $BTC is viable in the market. No altcoin is worth it.

Why?

If Bitcoin goes up, everything goes up.

If Bitcoin goes down, everything goes down.

Bitcoin goes down, but you're sure it will go up in a short time. But with an altcoin, it's always a pain, you have to wait for Bitcoin to go up for it to go up with it.

Okay, I know that the gains with altcoins are greater, but so are the losses. And believe me, the losses are invariably greater, do you know why? The house never loses. Binance is a casino (it's not the cryptos' fault), but because it controls the market, if you win a lot, it takes it back. If you lose a lot, it lets you recover a little, so you have hope of recovering everything and betting more and more.
