Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht announced in his post on the social platform X that he has been in prison for a full ten years. Ulbricht, who was arrested in 2013 and is now serving two life sentences, said he feared he would spend the rest of his days behind "concrete walls and locked doors." 🕵️‍♂️🔒

More than 250 organizations and half a million people signed for Ulbricht's release. Crypto and Bitcoin communities also supported him. However, some users argued that Ulbricht was accused of hiring assassins and that Silk Road had negative aspects such as sexual exploitation and drug dealing.
