ChainCatcher reported that Nikkei Asia cited people familiar with the matter as saying that Saison Capital, a venture capital firm under Singapore's Credit Saison, has allocated US$100 million for venture investments in the fields of Web2 and Web3, including continued investment in the blockchain and cryptocurrency markets.
Qin En Looi, head of Saison Capital, said: "We are expanding the mandate of the parent fund and seeking to shift the fund portfolio more from Web2 to Web3, not only early-stage projects, but also investing in more new cryptocurrency-focused funds."
According to RootData data, Saison Capital's investment portfolio includes 12 blockchain projects, including RWA credit protocol Helix, decentralized stablecoin protocol Thala, and collaborative entertainment IP Mythic Protocol.
