Ethereum Layer 2 developer StarkWare has delayed the initial unlocking of its native StarkNet (STRK) token by more than five months, according to ChainCatcher news. The new unlock date has been pushed back from the original November 29, 2023, to April 15, 2024.

A StarkWare spokesperson said the roadmap is being updated as needed, including updates to lockdowns. The first unlocked tokens belong to core contributors to the StarkWare ecosystem, early backers, and StarkWare employees.
