In quite a major move, Elon Musk has accepted Donald Trump’s offer to join his cabinet, should Trump win reelection in November. Indeed, the Tesla CEO has said he is willing to join the former president’s administration after the topic came up in a recent interview.

In a conversation with Reuters, Trump said he was open to offering Musk a role. The move would certainly be a departure for Musk. He currently heads X (formerly Twitter), SpaceX, Nueralink, and the aforementioned Tesla. Yet, it looks like he would be open to turning his attention to the White House, should Trump return to the Oval Office.

Elon Musk ‘Willing to Serve’ in Trump’s Administration

The 2024 presidential election is getting closer, with Vice President Kamala Harris taking on 45th President Donald Trump. With the campaigns ongoing, the two sides are currently discussing who would make up their cabinet.

For the Republican nominee, one interesting name has come up.

Moreover, that person has expressed their willingness to be part of the administration. Indeed, Elon Musk has accepted Donald Trump’s offer to join his cabinet. The response stems from recent statements made by the former president.

When asked about inviting the CEO to join his cabinet or take on an advisor role, Trump said, “He’s a very smart guy. I certainly would, if he would do it, I certainly would. He’s a brilliant guy.”
