🚨 The US Department of Justice is looking to call former FTX customers, investors, and employees as witnesses in the upcoming case against former crypto manager Sam Bankman-Fried. The DOJ may ask FTX’s expectations of how it would handle customer assets, as well as cooperating witnesses’ understanding of their interactions with the defendant and the intent of certain statements and actions. The issues at issue in the case are directly related to how the witnesses understood their relationships with the defendant and their company, and how statements made by the defendant were interpreted and understood. ⚖️
