Norway Increases BTC Investments in H1 2024
Norway's sovereign wealth fund, managed by investment bank Norges Bank Investment Management, is actively investing in companies that are directly related to Bitcoin.
The Norwegian sovereign wealth fund indirectly owns 2,446 BTC. This is 938 BTC more than on December 31, 2023, wrote Velte Lunde, senior analyst at K33Research.
It turns out that each of Norway's 5.5 million citizens owns $27 worth of Bitcoin. This position of the country's authorities indicates their support for the crypto industry.
