According to ChainCatcher, Coindesk reported that the auditing agency Mazars has suspended services for cryptocurrency customers. A Binance spokesperson said: "Mazars announced that it will temporarily stop working with all cryptocurrency customers around the world, including Crypto.com, KuCoin and Binance. This means that we can no longer continue to work with Mazars (for reserve audit work)." Currently, the webpage related to the BTC reserve report of the Binance platform audited by Mazars is no longer accessible.
As previously reported, Binance announced earlier this month that it had appointed accounting giant Mazars to verify its token reserves. On December 7, it announced that the BTC reserve report had passed the Mazars audit, with a reserve ratio of 101%. (Source link)
