Multiple suspects in June Holograph hack arrested in Italy
PANews, August 15 - The Holograph, a full-chain Non-Fungible Token protocol, announced on the X platform: "After an extremely tense two-month pursuit operation conducted by the French Cybercrime Prevention Office (OFAC), BRI, Europol, the Italian Anti-Mafia Investigation Department, and the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS), we are pleased to announce that multiple arrests have been made in connection with the Holograph hacking incident that occurred on June 13. As part of the arrest operation, a large number of assets and electronic equipment have been frozen and seized. The arrests were carried out in Italy with the assistance of the French authorities. The suspects will soon be extradited to France to stand trial. Due to the ongoing investigation, the names of the suspects cannot be disclosed at this time, as per the request of the French authorities.
