Magic Eden announces upcoming ME token issuance

Cayman Islands - The ME Foundation recently announced the upcoming issuance of the ME token as the ecosystem token of Magic Eden. Magic Eden is the world's leading NFT and rune marketplace, supporting more than 10 digital asset protocols. The ME token will facilitate the trading of these digital assets and provide a mobile-first trading experience through the Magic Eden Wallet.

Since its inception, Magic Eden has become a top NFT trading market, contributing more than 60% of the global NFT market's trading volume. It is also the largest Bitcoin inscription and rune market, contributing more than 80% of the trading volume.

The ME Foundation expects a significant shift in users' on-chain behavior, especially the demand for mobile native experiences and end-to-end DAPPs. The ME token is expected to become an innovator in Web3 DAPP tokens.

Magic Eden Wallet will be the only channel for claiming ME tokens, and currently has 250,000 monthly active users. The Foundation will disclose more information about the ME token in the future, so stay tuned.
