Uniswap Labs and Across Protocol have teamed up to introduce ERC-7683, a proposed standard for cross-chain trade execution. The initiative was highlighted in a recent X post by Uniswap Labs, who stated that the new standard aims to create a unified framework for cross-chain intents and increase interoperability between decentralized networks.

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin expressed his support for ERC-7683, describing it as an “open standard for signaling cross-chain orders.” Buterin noted that the standard includes advanced mechanisms and increases the efficiency of cross-chain transaction processes.
