According to an official announcement from GMX, the GMX community has started voting on the proposal for “Change the Income Distribution Model for GMX Buyback and Distribution”
It has received majority support from the GMX DAO and is currently pending implementation. According to the proposal, this change aims to leverage “buybacks” to enhance GMX’s long-term value retention capabilities, improve the user experience and strategic flexibility of the protocol, while minimizing model changes and fully retaining the benefits of “real income.” $GMX
