The next hearing on the “protective order” motion in the U.S. SEC v. Binance case will be held on September 18
District Judge Zia M. Faruqui signed a temporary order on Wednesday in a lawsuit filed by the U.S. SEC against Binance, Binance.US and its founder CZ. The move comes as Binance and its subsidiary Binance.US filed a joint motion with the SEC seeking a protective order and opposing the SEC’s motion to compel disclosure of evidence.
According to a court filing on September 13, Judge Faruqui has issued a temporary order setting the next hearing on September 18.
Judge Faruqui will hear statements from the defendants on BAM Management US Holdings and BAM Trading Services (Binance.US)’s motion for a protective order; and will also hear arguments from the SEC opposing the motion for a protective order.
