The existence of Arbitrum is a solution to the problems of the Ethereum chain, including storage problems, gas problems, and throughput problems.
To put it simply, the Ethereum chain can be compared to the first floor of a house, which is small in size and has high rent. Arbitrum is like adding a second floor on top of the first floor, which has a larger area and lower rent. There is overlapping space between the first and second floors.
