According to Cointelegraph, despite the overall decline in the global blockchain market, Germany hit a record high in terms of global venture capital financing share in 2023. According to a report released by Crypto Valley Venture Capital (CVVC), the German blockchain field received a total of US$355 million in investment, involving 34 transactions. According to CVVC data, this means that Germany's financing has increased by 3% year-on-year.

The report also noted that Germany also set records in terms of global financing and deal share. Germany attracted 2.4% of global blockchain financing and 2.5% of deal share. Compared with 0.9% of global financing and 1.9% of deal share in 2022, Germany's share in both statistics increased in 2023.

Germany also accounts for a significant share of funding in the blockchain ecosystem within Europe. The report states that Germany received 9.4% of European blockchain funding and 10.3% of all European blockchain deals.
