There are positive and negative contract rates
If the contract is positive, the long position will be subsidized to the short position.
If the contract is negative, short sellers are subsidized to long sellers.
Under normal circumstances, settlement occurs every 8 hours.
The copycat market has been so popular that it has been settled once every 4 hours or every 2 hours.
One-time rate deduction algorithm: margin × multiple × funding rate (simply put, position × rate)
For example:
Recently popular trb has dropped from 10 to now 35 dollars
If you open a $1,000 contract at $10 and hold it for ten days and the fee rate is -2.5%
Then it is 1000×10×0.025×3×10=7500 dollars, which is not a profit!
