CoinVoice has recently learned that on September 14, F2Pool co-founder Wang Chun wrote a post regarding "Paxos claimed nearly 20 BTC fees" and stated that due to time zone differences, the claim was actually made after the initially announced deadline.
Wang Chun said: “I am very annoyed and regret agreeing to return the 20 BTC. Especially when I saw that the claimant kept saying EST instead of EDT/UTC time. Last time a Zcash person did this, I banned his entire company.”
Wang Chun has launched a poll to collect community opinions on this matter. As of press time, 36.8% of the 1,947 voters believe that the fees should be distributed to miners, 27.3% believe that they should be returned to Paxos, 21.3% voted in favor of freezing this part of BTC, and the rest voted in favor of miners and Paxos splitting it equally.
