Aptos will unlock 20 million APT on November 12, accounting for 8.5% of the circulating supply

ChainCatcher reported that according to CoinDesk, Token UnlocksS data showed that Aptos will unlock 20 million APT tokens (about $103 million at the current price of $5.17) at 0:00 UTC on November 12 (8:00 Beijing time on November 12), equivalent to more than 8.5% of the Aptos circulation supply of 235.02 million. These tokens are unlocked for the first time by the team and investors.

Research firm The Tie said the amount of APT tokens unlocked in November was equivalent to 112% of the average daily trading volume in the previous 30 days.

The Tie said: “These unlocks will be made monthly and will coincide with the monthly staking reward unlocks (5.83 million APT or 32% of average daily trading volume, increasing to 6.15 million APT in December). In addition, 4.62 million APT has been unlocked monthly for the community and foundation since last year.”
