Hong Kong Police Arrest Four in Fake Cryptocurrency Scam
According to Odili, Hong Kong police dismantled a group accused of using counterfeit currencies to defraud cryptocurrency victims, leading to the arrest of four individuals, including a 14-year-old boy. The total number of arrests related to such cases has reached 14. Since October last year, such incidents have resulted in losses amounting to HK$11 million (US$1.4 million), Commercial Crime Bureau Chief Inspector Lu Yuanshan said on Sunday.
