According to TechFlow, on July 26, Bloomberg reported that Standard Chartered Bank expects the tokenization market to reach about $30 trillion by 2034, of which trade finance will contribute 16%. The current cryptocurrency market value is $2.4 trillion, and about $13.2 billion of real-world assets have been tokenized, with private credit accounting for the largest portion, at $8.4 billion, followed by U.S. Treasury bonds. As Wall Street leads the field of tokenized real-world assets, mainstream institutions are considering whether to enter the gray area of decentralized finance (DeFi).
