You may not realize it now but if you have ever thought:
I hate my job.
I can’t wait for Friday.
Sunday scaries.
I deserve a raise.
I don’t make enough.
You might want to consider a new career.
I busted my ass for 4 years for a company.
I got raises (3-5% a year).
I received promotions.
I worked 60 hour weeks.
I nearly ruined my relationship with my girlfriend over a job I didn’t even care about for a company that was mediocre. All for the love of fiat money.
I worked intimately with thousands of people a year. I saw how these people sacrificed their health for their ‘wealth’. They worked jobs beyond usual hours for companies that didn’t care about them. Jobs that destroyed their bodies physically while restricting their free time and killing their healthy behaviors and family life.
All this while they stored their wealth in a currency that devalued at least 5% a year. They were fighting an inevitable uphill battle against inflation.
You lose all self purpose when you’re a wage slave that is paid by the hour. You’re no longer working to produce value, instead you are working to get through the day and acquire your hourly wage in exchange for your slave labor.
Was it a coincidence I began my Bitcoin journey while working at this facility? I credit Bitcoin for giving me the knowledge and the understanding to accept this truth and exit the traditional system and transition to a life I love.
It took me a decade before I understood this and now it can’t be unseen.
We changed up everything. We started working on finding happiness on a daily basis. I am genuinely excited for each and every day now. I wake up with a hunger for knowledge, a determined focus and increased productivity. I am building things I love and working on relationships that will last decades instead of weeks. I find myself working far beyond my usual hours and almost never have regrets.
Not every day is ‘perfect’ but I control how I manage my TIME, ENERGY and GOALS. I can travel, work remotely and I have the support of the person I LOVE and that is the most rewarding part.
Certainly there are drawbacks:
Stability.
Structure.
Benefits.
Pay.
This is not a recommendation to make a major change in your lifestyle during a ‘down market’ and create vulnerabilities in your life. Every decision should be made with incredible thought and prudence.
I spent over a year planning and considering my decisions. I waited for the appropriate time and made the jump. Most people are not in a position to drop everything ‘immediately’ and chase their dreams.
Do your due-diligence and move carefully.
I am going to start sharing more of my own personal thoughts and experiences on here. If you read this to the end and enjoyed it,let me know your thoughts below 👇
