Mt.Gox (we affectionately call it "Mentougou") has been making a lot of moves recently!!!
They have started to give money to everyone, using 56,452.9 BTC, which is more than 3.5 billion US dollars when converted into US dollars!
This money is not given out casually, it has to be divided through five reliable exchanges: Bitbank, SBI VC Trade, Kraken, Bitstamp, and BitGo.
How to divide it specifically? "Mentougou" first transfers the money to be compensated to the accounts of these exchanges, and then the exchanges will distribute it to everyone one by one.
Since July 5, there have been several large transfers:
On July 5, Bitbank received 1,544.6 BTC; on the same day, SBI VC Trade also received 1,157;
On July 16, Kraken received 48,641.2 at once, which is a large number!
On July 22, Bitstamp also received 5,110.1 BTC. The total BTC to be compensated is more than 140,000. More than half of it has been paid out, but there are still 85,000 waiting to be distributed.
