Former top manager of the FTX crypto exchange Ryan Salame pleaded guilty to fraud related to FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried. Salameh agreed to return $1.55 billion in assets and pay a $6 million fine. 😮

Salameh was charged with conspiracy to defraud the Federal Election Commission and conducting an illegal money transfer business. He faces up to 10 years in prison. ⚖️

This marks another blow for Bankman-Fried, whose trial begins on October 3. Salameh became the fourth person in Bankman-Fried's inner circle to plead guilty to crimes since the collapse of FTX in November.
