According to CryptoPotato, Ripple announced on Monday that it will include four new European universities in its University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI). These partner universities will promote blockchain research and education across Europe. The newly added universities include Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), EPITA (France), IE Madrid (Spain) and University of Trento (Italy), bringing the total number of Ripple's partners in Europe to 14.
IE Madrid plans to hold a three-day seminar with students on virtual asset regulation. Since 2014, Ripple has committed $11 million to relevant partners to advance blockchain education and research.
