Preface: Valhalla purchased two at a cost of 1e, with a total income of 1.7e and a net profit of 0.7e.
What’s up Max from NF has no T. December has come, and my actions have gradually slowed down. My brain has started to shut down and is about to enter hibernation (~﹃~)~zZ. The biggest concession to procrastination is that I finished this summary in the first week of December. There is no new project today, only a review and reflection on November as a whole. I hope my own experience can help you avoid detours~~
Some of the projects that impressed me most in November are Valhalla, 3D invisible friends, KPR, DuDu and 10K WC.
Valhalla is a project I have been following since I wrote my research notes in August and posted a video in September. It has gone from being hard to get a code to being "ridiculed by everyone". Due to the grudge between Alex and the project 1984, the chat records were leaked, and many marketing accounts grabbed the title of "rug". Fud also became more and more serious with the arrival of the mint period, which perfectly illustrates that people who are famous are prone to gossip. The mint price of 0.5 is expensive in the bear market if it is in ETH, but it is only 600U if it is converted to U, which is still acceptable. It is not as ugly as everyone says. There is no need to criticize for the sake of criticism.
About pricing:
When the price of 0.5eth was announced, the first two things that came to my mind were: first, paper hands would not be satisfied with too little meat at the price of 0.5. There was no need to risk 0.5 for a profit of 0.01. Most people, like me, wanted to protect their capital first, so the floor price could reach 1e during the wl mint period. Another point was that the price of 0.5e made it easy for its trading volume to rush to the top of the opensea list. For most NFT projects, a trading volume of 1k is a number worth celebrating, and the top of the list means greater traffic and exposure. (I remember that on the day of mint, it may have reached 1k in less than 12 hours)
But that doesn’t mean you can just rush in without thinking. Even if any NFT is flawless in every aspect, you still have to consider the market sentiment.
Note three data:
Fortunately, Valhalla did not go super white - I sincerely hope that other project owners can learn from this! This gave me a short time to observe the market. The main data to look at are mint speed, order rate and trading volume. The mint speed in the WL period lays the foundation for whether the project is successfully launched. A good mint speed is not only a reassurance for the project owner, but also for speculators. The order rate can reflect the royal degree of the community at this stage and its confidence in the subsequent development of the project. On the other hand, it can also determine whether the project owner has self-positioning market-making measures. The trading volume directly determines the mint behavior and market acceptance. Without buying orders, no matter how high the floor price is, it is in vain.
I was lucky enough to get the whitelist, minted 2, and immediately placed an order for 1.03e after minting (there was no 5% creator royalty at that time). The main purpose was to get back the original cost, which was equivalent to getting a valhalla NFT for free, ensuring that my emotions would not be affected by the subsequent floor fluctuations. The suggestion here is that if you want to invest, don’t just buy 1! ! ! ! At least start with two! ! ! The number of two greatly alleviates the embarrassment of not knowing when to sell. If you sell one first, one is to help your principal as much as possible, or to bear lower costs, and the other is that you are not easily affected by the market fomo or fud emotions, so that you can get a higher profit point.
Self-reflection:
For Valhalla, I can give myself 80 points. What needs improvement is that I should sell both at 1e, so that I can buy them back at 0.6 later. Because I will probably choose to sell them before the map is opened to ensure the maximization of benefits. I personally think that good shipment is an important step to promote circulation. While making profits, I can buy back at the low point of the project. This is not an excuse for paper hand, but a good buying and selling market. But there are a thousand Hamlets in the hearts of a thousand people. Finding a comfortable way for yourself is yyds~ Let's talk about Valhalla today. I'm tired of procrastination... See you~
