JP Morgan changes its forecast for a Fed rate cut from November to September (July 12)

The U.S. core consumer price index (CPI) rose at an annual rate of 3.3% in June, not seasonally adjusted, below expectations of 3.40% and down from 3.40% in the previous month. The seasonally adjusted monthly CPI growth rate in June was -0.1%, compared with expectations of 0.10% and the previous value of 0.00%. Initial jobless claims came in at 222,000 for the week ended July 6, compared with expectations for 236,000 and the previous reading of 238,000.
